AniWatching is a read-only browser extension that displays a user’s AniList watch status on Crunchyroll seasonal simulcast pages.
Data AniWatching handles
When a user connects AniList, AniWatching handles the AniList OAuth access token returned by AniList. It also handles the user’s AniList anime-list data, Crunchyroll seasonal title text, cached title matches, and any manual title corrections the user chooses to save.
The OAuth token, cached list data, page matches, and manual corrections are stored only in the extension’s local browser storage. Disconnecting AniList removes the token and private caches.
How the data is used
AniWatching uses this data only to authenticate with AniList, read the user’s anime list, match AniList titles with Crunchyroll seasonal titles, and display watch-status annotations on supported Crunchyroll pages.
AniWatching does not change the user’s AniList account. It does not inspect unrelated tabs or browsing history.
Sharing and sale
AniWatching does not sell user data, use it for advertising, analytics, credit decisions, or purposes unrelated to the extension’s single purpose. Data is sent only to AniList as necessary to authenticate, read list data, and search titles. AniWatching does not transmit Crunchyroll account data.
Remote code and analytics
AniWatching does not use remote executable code. All extension logic is bundled in the published package. AniWatching does not include analytics or tracking.
